Mobile Speech Pathology
Convenient therapy sessions delivered in your home or school environment on the Sunshine Coast, fostering natural communication.
Speech Pathology
Jazzmyn Lyon is a mobile Speech Pathologist on the Sunshine Coast working with school-aged children and teens/young people through a client-centred approach. Her work is grounded in safety, connection, and regulation to support language development, communication, and social skills.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Jazzmyn works with each client as an individual, honouring who they are and respecting their unique personality, strengths, and pace of growth. Her focus is on supporting children and young people to feel confident, understood, and capable in their communication.
NDIS & Private Services
Supporting self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants, as well as private clients with a relational approach.
Family Collaboration
Working hand-in-hand with families to support holistic, meaningful, and lasting communication progress.
Somatic Counselling & Developmental Trauma Support
Jazzmyn's therapy approach is informed by somatic, trauma-aware principles, recognising the connection between communication, the nervous system, and emotional experience. Sessions go beyond traditional skill-building to gently explore what may be underlying communication challenges, including patterns of stress, regulation, and learned responses held in the body.
Working with children, teens/young people, and adults, Jazzmyn creates a safe and supportive space where clients can feel settled, engaged, and open to change. This foundation supports more meaningful progress in language and social communication, as well as confidence in expressing thoughts, needs, and emotions.
She works collaboratively with individuals and families to deepen understanding of communication patterns and build practical strategies that can be integrated into everyday life. This holistic approach supports not only communication outcomes, but also emotional resilience, self-awareness, and stronger, more connected relationships.
The Practitioner
Grounded in safety, centered in connection.
With almost two decades of experience, Jazzmyn Lyon MHSc is a practitioner who believes that true progress begins with feeling safe. Her dual background in speech pathology and somatic therapy allows her to work holistically, bridging the gap between communication development and nervous system health.
Whether supporting participants and families navigating NDIS services, working with individuals through communication and emotional challenges or life transitions, her focus remains constant: deep listening. Jazzmyn meets each person where they are, creating space for unique self expression, balance, insight, and meaningful change.
